Ah, Pitchfork!

We are pleased to say that we had a wonderful time at The Pitchfork Music Festival last weekend in Chicago. As some of you know already, we manned a table at the CHIRP Record fair within the festival for the second year in a row. This was a chance to meet the public, get the word out about our label, artists and shows (such as the upcoming "Square Affair"), and sell a few records and posters along the way.

We did all of that, and even managed to check out a few bands while we were at it. :-)
Highlights for me included:
Modest Mouse - Been waiting years to see them and even though I found it slightly anti-climactic, it was still good
Raekwon - a man that gives the people what they want: a set chock-full of Wu Tang hits!
Wolf Parade - Nearing perfection despite rampant technical difficulties!

Did you go to the fest? If so, please feel free to share some of your experiences!
