It's about that time again... WCWB III!

By now we're deep into the winter winds here in Chicago, and that means it's time for another Windy City Winter Ball. This third installment features a killer bill and some pretty awesome extras that we're not too humble to brag about. The Detroit Cobras, and local Chicago bands Hollows and Rambos will rock your socks off while Glitterguts Photobooth captures the moment, Sailor Jerry's Rum libates (yeah, i made it up) early concertgoers with their intoxicating pirate juice and DJ Billy G from WLUW's spins soul music between sets. This is a a formal affair folks, so don't forget to wear your best duds for a chance to win the best dressed competition and all the riches that come with that prestigious title. (FYI: Riches = $25 gift certificate from the coolest shop in Wicker Park, Una Mae's Freak Boutique)

There is a VERY CLOSE race going on for the Deli Chicago's Artist of the month! It's between Julie Meckler and Geronimo. If you haven't heard Julie, you should take a chance and listen. The big ole' Grape Juice Records Thanksgiving Recipe Contest!

At Grape Juice Records we love food very, very much. It's only natural that Thanksgiving would be one of our favorite holidays. We have much to be thankful for!

The only problem is this: We have no Idea what to eat!

That's where you come in. We need our friends and fans to send us their favorite holiday recipes. We will post them on our page and pick a couple of our favorites to try out at our pre-thanksgiving potluck. Grape Juice will then vote on a winner, who will receive a special prize!

Please send us your recipes and photos if you got 'em to jai@grapejuicerecords.com by Monday, Nov. 15 in order to be considered for the contest.

Also, this being a recession and all, we ask that you please keep your recipes on the economical side.
